Miguel Cotto beat a supremely conditioned, determined and strong Shane Mosley by close but clear decision. That was the strongest version of a welterweight Mosley there has ever been. IMO, I believe Shane did

it took to get in that type of condition. It still wasn’t enough.

And I think the Mosley we saw last night would get by Mayweather. Last night’s Mosley is just as quick as Mayweather and probably twice as strong. And Cotto is a very quick fighter with a jab that is as powerful as a cross. It’s a damaging blow.

Both Cotto and Mosley would run Mayweather out of the ring which is the reason you will NEVER see those fights. Mayweather is WAY too smart for that.

    Agree or not. Why?

I don't Shane is capable anymore. Maybe their were signs leading up to this fight but whenever he would catch Cotto clean, Cotto would come right back to exchange and Shane backed off a number of times. Like Hopkins, he doesn't have the reflexes to land enough meaningful clean blows and he knew if he were to stay in a exchange for too long he could have gotten seriously stunned. Floyd would stink up the joint against a slowing Sugar Shane and take home another Baldomir type victory.

Cotto would keep Floyd so defensive that he would end up walking away with a clear decision. Floyd wouldn't be able to score all the points he likes without runnning the risk of getting seriously hurt or knocked down. I don't think he would take as many risk to win a fight against Cotto.

Stylistically, Mosley may have a better chance than Cotto. BTW, that wasn't the best Mosley vs Cotto. The best Mosley in his prime was against DLH, the 1st fight.

Kinda like it wasnt the best DLH that Mayweather got a SD against. Cotto will end Mayweathers life.

    Mosley wins, Cotto loses.

Another 'great' night for PBF, when two of his foes face each other while he makes Fatty Hatton go up to a weight he sucked at, 147.

PBF is a much better cherrpicker than a fighter. And he's a great fighter.

Wow u guys hate for floyd is so great, that u totally over look other aspect of his skills and strenghs, and over look other fighters short commings, like the fact winky proved, that a good defense will offset mosely's speedy offence.
mosley has alway been easy to find with punches in his past fight , his chin, speed, strenth and stamina alowed him to wear some fighters down.

Folyd has better upper body movement then ,cotto and shane.
Zab proved that cotto can be hit with multiple shots and has a habit of walking into shots al r big no no when a fighter of floyd calibur.
