Jennings was a guy that an up and comer shouldve fought if he were to lose on his way up - not a former titlist.

Guys like JMM & Valero could've easily beat Jennings.
    Thats sad.

Exactly. Jennings is a part time boxer/drummer.

I agree with you 100%, why didn't TopRank put Cotto in with Joshua Clottey?

That would test Cotto to the fullest and see if he was ready to be a true elite fighter.

Zab Judah fought Mayweather and Cotto right after losing to Baldomir ... two world title shots against world titlists.

Cotto isn't doing himself any good by fighting a guy like Jennings ...

Its a damn shame because he's fitting the category that I put him in when I first start posting on here.

He's over hyped ... and protected by his promoter ...

His biggest win was a controversal win over Mosley where he was almost knocked out and survived by a wet spot on the canvas.

Pavlik's true colors are showing and he was truley exposed by Hopkins.

The only reason why Pavlik is safe is because he's draining himself to fight in a division where all the men are smaller than him. On top of that, the only threat out there is AA. I mean, come on now, AA is good, but he's not that good, and he's the only other real challenge out there. Apparently Sturm wants nothing to do with a tough challenge. Winky is old, PW isn't a real MW.

As far as Cotto, he's overhyped. I give him credit for winning against Mosley, but that wet spot IMO was a difference in the fight. And beating Zab, Zab was coming off a year layoff with no tune-up, & he had just gotten divorced.

I have to disagree with you on that ... AA is a serious threat to Pavlik, Pavlik has a ton of technical flaws and its apparent that he can't outbox a boxer. He might be taller and bigger, but he's not all that skilled compared to some fighters in the middleweight division. Paul Williams would beat him ... and Winky would beat him ... but TopRank would use those excuses to keep Pavlik out of the ring with those guys.

I bet that Lowe and Team Pavlik won't be talking about Joe Calzaghe anymore.

Cotto is finished in my opinion ... he has guys gunning for him ... and it isn't because of the money because he's not a big cash cow.

A difference in the fight? Please. The break in action was initiated by Mosley himself, who stopped his attack and motioned the ref in the direction of the wet spot.

And Cotto wasn't anywhere close to being stopped.

Yes AA is a threat. But the division is still kinda weak. & hell no CalZ will never be brought up again as far as an opponent. CalZ would shut him out 12-0 or 11-1.

As long as Clottey is fighting, he'll always have Cotto's number IMO.

He was in trouble. He could've been KO'd or at least knocked down right there, which would've been a big difference in the fight.

The thing is that ... Cotto was on ***** street and he was on the verge of getting stopped ... after that incident ... he ran the rest of the fight !!

That said alot about Cotto leading up to now ... he couldn't get away from Margarito and i'm sure he wouldn't be able to if he were to fight again with Mosley.

I doubt that Cotto fights any of the top welterweights in the near future ...

NO clottey, mosley, margarito, berto, or williams

The middleweight division is very weak and I think that TopRank is trying to capitalize on that ... and try to avoid AA in the process.

Pavlik's stiffest tests outside of Abraham will be the whole supermiddleweight division --

Pavlik is big enough to handle guys at SMW. Its just that his skills will fail him. He needs to get a new trainer and let Lowe be his asistant trainer/pad working partner/motivator.

Pavlik can't hang with Bute or Kessler ... nor can he handle the up and comers ... Ward and or Dirrell
