If you were a fighter and had someone on the verge of going down, what you stop your attack? I highly doubt it. Yeah, because he has such a long history of cherry picking and avoiding tough fights. Sometimes I wonder if you honestly believe half of the **** you come up with, or are you just spewing nonsense for shits and giggles.
No I wouldn't stop my attack at all. SSM shoulda kept it going instead of being nice, he probably costed himself the fight right there.
Nopes . . . they didn't prove anything . . . and they don't have to prove anything to stupid people like you. :yep You knew very well that these two just came from loses . . . and they need tune up fights to check their physical and mental state . . . so this is what the fights are all about. And to think Pavlik went straight to depend his belt and Cotto went to fight for a vacant belt . . . these two should be praised not antagonized. You are dumb as **** or simply a hater if you're expecting Pavlik to go straight fighting Abraham after his unsuccesful fight at 170 and Cotto to go straight fighting the other three belt holder immediatey after a loss. :deal
Torres Corley(who PBF beat but gets no credit for) Judah(who was off for a year) Paulie(feather fisted, outboxed him for most of the fight)
So basically what you're implying is, Shane would have scored a knockdown, possibly even a knockout, had he decided to not play it "nice?" Come on kid, you know you don't believe that. Mosley, Quintana, Judah, and Urkal were all ranked in the top 10 at 147 when Cotto beat them. Malignaggi, Torres, Maussa, N'dou, Quintana, and Mosley all went on to hold world titles after Cotto defeated them. Such as a lineal champ like a Tata Baldomir, perhaps? I guess not.
Lineal champ meaning; Tata beat Zab Judah. So what? That doesn't make him a great fighter, lineal champ or not.
I'm not even bothering with fritz a poundcake going back congratulating each other on their savvy since they agree with each other. There is one section of the fight I should make a clip of. Pavlik moves his head to slip 4 or 5 punches in a row almost with a little smile on his face. Even that they'd say it doesn't count because it was Rubio.
I just read thru a thread off of the front page, and though I thought I was getting used to it, the absolute HATRED for Pav was astounding.:verysad
What makes those guys you listed for Cotto so good? You discount Baldo who was the recognized champ then pump up half ass fighters like Malignaggi because they won bogus titles.
Please direct me to the post where I stated they were "good." Fitz asked which fighters Cotto defeated, and I gave him names. I'm not pumping up ****. I simply stated Malignaggi went on to win a belt. Nothing more, nothing less. But it's funny that you mention "bogus titles." You're a poster who I've seen on more than one occassion criticize Cotto for having "never defeated a champion for his belt." Yet, you're fully aware of how easy it is for these fighters to become champion these days. Still you criticize a fighter for not having defeated a "bogus champion." I mean they all are bogus, right...since Mayweather unlike Baldomir, Judah, and Spinks before him, never defended his title against any of the top contenders at 147?
