DLH quit at 8th on Pac, Floyd got the man through split D.
Pac starched Ricky in 2nd, as Floyd disposed Hatton in 10th.
JMM got Draw and SD lose to Pac, as Floyd a UD win
As Mayweather belittle Pacquiao's performance, may I know what can he offer if he fights Cotto? Can his extra ordinary, not one dimentional skill and talent also dominates Miguel Cotto?
I believe Cotto can give a real tought fight for Floyd Mayweather.
Why can't he try himself first before he say nonsense comments, with respect to Miguel Cotto, who is a legit welter he should have fought before Manny did.

to beat cotto convincingly, you must commit and take the fight to him. can floyd do this? floyd could win but it would be a pretty boring chess-match because he would not risk getting hit by a guy like cotto.

Floyd would tire cotto out and knock him down at least once in the later rounds, i'd say either Floyd by TKO11 or wide UD. Cotto isn't fast enough and doesn't have the best stamina IMO.

Other than Pacquiao, Floyd is looking for a much easier opponent. Cotto doesn't qualify.

People keep comparing how Manny beat the same opponets that Floyd fought in a more devestating fashion. Keep in mind these two guys have completely different styles. Manny style is gonna always look more entertaining because he's delivering as well as receiving punishmnet, while Floyd is doing most of the delivering and not receiving. Floyd style is more pleasing to the fans who like the art of boxing, not the art of fighting. Cotto, if he would of fought Floyd then or now he would of and still will loose. He's a good fighter, but lack ths skill and speed to beat someone like Floyd. The world will see when Floyd fight Manny, the difference between greatness and just being good.

Boxing fans now as well in the old days are usually inclined in the art of fighting. You realize that you are watching the sport of boxing when one of the two fighters got knocked down or unable to continue the match. Boxing is to hit or risk to be hit. IMO this sport is really made to see who will be the last man standing in the ring. Scorecards are meant only if both fighters just went for distance.
And if we talk about the art of boxing, is only appreciated when the fighter's skilled or slick style is just part of his defense to make an offense. Floyd doesn't qualify to that. Hit and run, he is afraid to engage or get hit, his style is absolutely not for the sport. He is a boxer who just want to show or embarass his opponent that he is far better fighter. And it confirms through his off the ring loudmouth bad ass attitude. Too bad some claims of boxing greatness gone to Floyd Mayweather Jr. Wake up people.

How long are you willing to wait watching pointless fights before we see the one we want which is FMJ-Pac ?

Do you realise how many months would be wasted waiting for Mayweather to beat Cotto ?... meanwhile, Floyd & Pac are getting older, now is the time.
I would boil over with fury if FMJ & Cotto agreed to a fight right now, I cant stand meaningless **** when there is better within reach.

Please think about **** in future, cheers !

Mayweather has had plenty chance to fight Cotto, but he has chosen an alternate route, pbf's route seemingly goes around Miguel Cotto, Shane mosley, Manny Pacqiao, Paul Williams, Anotnio Margarito and Josh Clottey...Its a shame.

mayweather potshots his way to win via UD.. but cotto has a good chance of hurting floyd within the fight.

I think cotto has a better chance if he changes trainer and does actually LEARN from his loss to pacbeast i.e. He sticks to a workable solid gameplan and not lose his head but I would now favor pbf 55-45
