No they didn't. Ask any serious Classic poster what they thought of the fight. Oscar throwing stay-busy arm punches, and a turtled Floyd snaking out a couple of punches a round? Come on man. It was absolutely woeful.

Oscar wasn't really "healthy" if he gassed midway through the fight. He was a pale imitation of himself. Do you remember how the 2000 version fought like a man possessed in every round of the 1st Mosley fight, and walked through MASSIVE shots due to his chin, desire and conditioning?

What does that matter? A 144lbs Pacquiao would devastate, demolish and destroy a tired, toothless 154lbs Oscar with ease.

i also cannot believe how highly he is rating that part-time fighter version of oscar. just because he pulled a SD lost against an overly cautious floyd, he thinks it was oscar reincarnated already.

the oscar floyd beat weighed about 20 lbs more and was a year younger than the one manny beat. If you want to say pac rapes him then thats your prerogative, I'd prolly pick him to win a decision. If he was so awful though why was manny fighting him? Why is manny fighting fighters that are "shot to ****" or "zombies" when floyd fought and beat them only doing it a couple years after floyd did. What does this say about mannys resume above 130?

Pacquiao is the only other fighter that has a chance at 154 but he`s still not in Mayweather`s class as a boxer technically - which is what ultimately did Oscar but that would actually be a very competitive fight between Pac & DLH at this weight, well pointed out... I wouldnt bet on that one tho, too close to call. Their actual 147 fight would look nothing at all like this so I would leave that out of the equation.

so you are actually serious that this version of oscar would beat the current pacquiao? do you want to make a public poll with that?

and that was a good technical fight? jab-jab-jab with floyd backing up. that was a one-dimensional oscar that we saw. if not for oscar pushing the pace, the fight would be more boring.

Wise up. ODLH was the kingmaker for both Floyd and Pacquiao. He had to be fought by both.

    C`mon

It took him 9 rds to get rid of the shell of the same fighter your talking about, this is a fight that Pacquiao could definitely lose, I would not bet on it.

well at least the oscar that pac fought was not inactive for a year and had a tune-up against forbes.

also remember, it was oscar who picked the "lightweight" pacquiao and not the other way around. roach knew that pac can take on this version of oscar, yes the 154 version that he trained for floyd, that's why they took it. and if you will ask why they did not fought him at 154, answer is pretty simple, pac is coming from 135 and it would look more absurd if pac would jump from 135 to 154 (3 divisions) and also at the same time, oscar was actually planning to rematch floyd back then at 147. so oscar going down to 147 was actually in preparation for floyd and it just so happened that floyd retired and pac was picked by oscar to take his spot and the rest was history.

are you afraid that people would say differently from your opinion that version of oscar would beat pacquiao? :D

common now bill, poll is secondary, more important is the people's opinion and explanation why or why not that version of oscar would beat pacquiao. :yep
