so that oscar version would beat pacquiao right?

the same version who gassed in the floyd fight and roach said that could not pull the trigger while training him for the fight?

Afraid ? hardly... I dont take it that serious, you could do a Haye v Ali poll & plead for everyone to answer truthfully & you would probably still get 5% that vote for Haye on here tbh.

The reasons I think this fight would be competitive & could possibly be won by DLH... The sheer size difference advantage Oscar would have at 154 is enormous... Pac likes to mix it up & vs a guy who likely weighs about 165 on the night & can hit hard anyway, thats not good.
Of course the last 3rd of the fight should be to Pac`s advantage if he can get there but the damage Pac will have to take in order to give his own might be too much.
Look how big Oscar looked vs Floyd at 154 & Floyd is naturally bigger than Pac... Floyd was troubled mostly by Oscar`s size but his style enabled him to outbox Oscar without taking too much power shots, Pac`s style takes more damage.

    Why do you keep saying `would beat`... I said `could beat`

Its too close a fight for me to bet on & I would not be suprised one bit if Pac ended up KTFO early on, its a styles (& size) thing.

This guy is not for real. I really don't think he is. He's leading us a merry dance IMO. I'm not biting anymore. :nono

It would need to be one hell of a punch to the forearm/elbow to knock Manny Pacquiao out!!!!

Exactly. This is a silly argument. I honestly think he is taking the ****.

ok fair enough with your reasoning. the reason why i think pac would absolutely beat oscar here is i have seen no difference in the way he fought aginst pac at 147 and at 154 with floyd. oscar was still moving forward using his jab and thats all he has. he was actually more mobile against pac because he was lighter (which was actually their plan to match pac's speed).

the only difference the size would bring is he could take more punishment and probably last the whole 12 rounds instead of quitting on his stool. oscar would be more slower at 154 and if he could not tag pac when he is lighter, he would not tag pac at a heavier weight. pac would just confuse oscar with movements and footwork and would be eating shots at different angles. at the same time pac would still fight a cautious fight just like what he did against the same oscar at 147.

I'm not sure he beats DLH at 154, or he necessarily beats the Judah Floyd faced, who wasn't ring rusty and was younger, Judah hurt Cotto after all

No, he was coming off a defeat to Baldomir and was a whopping 10 months younger.

I seriously think it's the ****ing comedy club in here today.

Floyd would beat everyone on Cotto's resume and Floyd would beat Cotto. Cotto is nowhere near as good as Mayweather and Mayweather will definately go down as the greater figheter.

Floyd would dominate Cotto, I don't think there can be much doubt about that.

I could see Pac winning hat way... but its nlikely he sticks to this gameplan for the whole 12, he`s a warrior at heart & would feel the need to go to war at times as he always does, once he gets tagged hard I see Pac coming back IN as opposed to OUT, its a pride thing with Pac, he`s like Morales in that sense, they cant stand to be outdone in a trade-off & vs a 165 lb (on the night) Oscar that COULD be very bad.

Oscar whoops Cotto's AZZ. Bigger with better jab, hook, right hand, footwork, and defense. Both guys have stamina issues too.

Cotto has to set everything up behind his jab, and Oscar is good at parrying. Miguel is too flat footed to **** with Oscar.

Dominate? Doubt it. Cotto would give Floyd a good fight I think.
