Cotto beats Hatton at any weight

Cotto looks vastly better at 147 than he did at 140 IMO. Hatton may very well have overpowered him there.

 

Cotto wins at any weight. I will say it over and over again.

 

Id pick Hatton easily at 140. Hatton at 140 was possibly stronger, faster, more explosive, better footwork and better stamina. IMO Hatton probably is as big disadvantage at 147 as Cotto was at 140. Cotto has become so much stronger and sturdier at 147. Hatton much more explosive and stronger at 140, considering his main tactic is to overpower and tire his opponents out, it really is a big disadvantage for him going to 147.

 

Hatton would have stopped Cotto 2 years ago at 140, Cotto takes it at 147 all day long.

Cotto 10 times out of 10 at any weight unless the fight takes place in the UK where anything that lands below Ricky's nipples is considered a low blow and Cotto is required to tie one hand behind his back

 

hatton at 140 i can spot the very areas where hatton would dominate. intensity and work rate. body punchin with cottos stance the body shots would come. 140 strength would be either with cotto or hatton would a great fight at 140

 

Hatton @ 140 only kind of implies Cotto @ 147 only so that will mess up your results.

Cotto was drained at 140 and would lose to Hatton there. With that said Cotto would kill Hatton at 147.

 

You guys are really ****ing clueless. I find it absolutely baffling the pathetic emphasis placed on 7lbs. Cotto used to make 140. There was a time when Arum had him trying to make 35. What on earth is the point in debating Cotto`s ability to make 140?!?! Why not debate Hatton Cotto at 126lbs? Or **** it why not debate the fight at 180 as im dam sure Hatton could make 180 if need be. its a stupid ****ing argument. lb for lb kilo for kilo at ANY weight Cotto DESTROYS Hatton. The weight is a complete non plus. The issue here is styles. Defensively Cotto is quite sound and likes to walk forward and bang. Hatton would simply have no answer for his power with a style like his end of story.
