When the **** was this? Torres and Corley...and it was Torres that pushed him when he finally went down. And since when did Clottey become some monster puncher? :huh His KO rating is 52%...that's around as much as Juan Diaz (his is 47%). Honestly...KO'ing Cotto is out of the question. He couldn't take out a blown up Corrales. He gases out pretty bad after the 5th and his punch output is low already. He wasn't quite impressive against Shamone Alvarez... Where do people get this idea that Cotto is gonna get KO'd? He stood toe to toe with Mosley and wasn't on the verge of going down. Ate all of Judah's best shots and still pressed forward. Took many shots from Margarito (something Clottey DIDNT do) and only took a knee. Clottey doesnt have the body attack to slow Cotto down. If anything Clottey will get KO'd. Believe it. It'll be a tough tough fight for Cotto because of CLottey's size, but it'll be Cotto's night when he KO's him.
Cotto has to fight the perfect fight to win this one, he can do it but it's not going to be easy. This fight will show how much Cotto has left.
Thats how its done no setups or tomato cans right into the fray! I respect that! Cotto has a lot to prove. Im rooting for a blistering KO by Cotto at which point the haters will say Clottey was past it, or blame weight or some other bulls---
Nice! I'm going for Cotto close UD. Clottey's defense and counter-punching would make it very tough for Miguel, I don't think Cotto's gonna get in too many clean shots on Clottey. But Clottey's low workrate and sometimes complacency would be his downfall here, not to mention his suspect stamina. So I envision Cotto to simply outwork the bigger man into a close decision. Good fight.
