Cotto bottled it???

Margarito took his heart away.

You could see it in his eyes near the end, the guy was physically and emotionally battered.

Not a quit job IMO

 

Cotto couldn't even hold his gloves up when he went down the first time - there was a part when he was sliding along the ropes after a Margo barrage and he was wide open because his hands were down at his waist.

That's how spent he was.

He obviously couldn't do anymore to even defend himself, never mind attack Margo.

If his corner hadn't have thrown in the towel when they did, I think the ref would have stopped it as soon as Cotto got back to his feet and Margo moved in on him again.

He clearly had nothing left in the tank.
