Hmmm I have yet to hear Cotto publicly use the so called wraps as the cause of his demise. The same hippocrites that bashed posters for crying foul without "concrete"evidence on margos behalf are now glamorizing and exaggerating cotto's fish comment. Hillarious stuff, Miguel has been completly professional through out...though any indirect usage of constructive criticism has been well justified IMO. There's no question as to who has the superior skill set and while margo showed superior duribility and focus the upside lies on cotto he can only improve and rewire a game plan. Margo on the other hand can only once again will his way to a win. Its easy to distinguish true boxing scribes from those on this board who lack perspective.

BTW he didnt call him a *****. He called him a "bacalao" which literally means codfish. Here in PR we call ppel "bacalao" meaning someone whos not good, like you would call another boxer a "bacalao" if you wanted to call him a really bad boxer, or an easy win, or say a D level fighter.

When ther other guy asked him about Margarito, Cotto said "Dont talk to me about that "bacalao". A good translation would have been "Dont talk to me about that chump." ***** is a really bad choice of word for the translation.

 

Educate the man, I also heard Margarito called Cotto a quitter while he was in Mexico:hi:

I like your avatar...the last time I spoke with Benitez he was training in Tucson under Chuck Wagner trying to make his last comeback...and he was strguggling with his words even then....hell of a person though.

There was no plaster in Vegas. It doesnt happen. And no, there is no documented example of a trainer discovering anything of the sort in Vegas.

You need evidence, and none of you have any. Just logic that isnt really logic cause nobody has actually looked up the ever-important VENUES the fights were held in and how they do things DIFFERENTLY.
