Cotto came from 140??

    Exactly i think the issue of weight and choosing the best opponents at least close enough to your weight class is overrated a few pounds don't mean ish if you walking around at 160+ and gotta get down to 147 you'd think it would be a help i expect Ricky to look better on Saturday night than he ever has in a fight at 140 but he still gone get his ass whooped!!!

    No, because Cotto is a NATURAL welterweight. He had to drain to make 140.

    So can we say Cotto was ducking all of the fighters at 147 only to fight smaller fighters at 140 to rack up victories why drain your self and hurt your body if that's not the weight your most comfortable fighting at??

    of course not...how does that make sense? He started at 140, not 147. If he had started at WW then later dropped to 140, then I would say maybe he was ducking, but he never fought as a WW until Quintana.
