Cotto can just come in over 145 and pay the penalty anyways...

Its not like the WBO will strip Cotto, as long as he's under 147... and its not like Pacquiao will pull out of the fight when he has a 12million$ guarantee.

So Cotto can just wegih-in at 146 or 147, pay the penalty, and fight at his comfortable weight. I mean if he wants to have such a big size advantage thats fine but he should pay the price in terms of purse split..

Cotto won't play that kind of a game. He's too much of a warrior.

To be honest I would come in over 145 but under 147. He really has nothin 2 lose by doin this, the fight will go on and win or lose he keeps his belt. So why not ?

Too late, Pac asked for 143, and got 145. It's in the contract. Why would a man accept being penalized, when he shouldn't even be penalized for anything in the first place? Your hero shouldn't have asked for 143 period Ph|LLA

Exactly. *******s have no answers when posters post this response. They don't even post footage of PAc's two early ko losses.

Why does everyone make such a big fuss about this catchweight, when nobody seems to even give a **** about the catchweight for Mayweather-Marquez?

Can't Pac's team call the fight off if something like this happens? I know they won't(too much money), but can they do it if they feel like it?
