Cotto-Canelo done deal!!!!

If Freddy has Cotto moving around and boxing Canello, i can see a one sided affair much like the Canello Mayweather fight. Make him miss and make him pay....Canelo dont seem too good at moving forward, so Cotto needs to go back to his roots and glide around the ring like he used to do on his way to a shut out win:good

if that fight wasn't in texas with the wbc....trout wins 8-4. the knockdown brings it closer for canelo...but he still loses. cotto is going to beat him like a red headed step child.

 

i think canelo is a hype job so if cotto did beat him it would just further prove that. on the other hand i don't think cotto beats him, this is just a setup fight to con the fans into believing canelo is a star. cotto is washed up and took a beating from feather fisted trout, imagine what canelo will do to cotto. trout has no excuse he saw the scorecards round by round and he couldn't do a damn thing to win the fight, canelo landed the harder more damaging punches and he won a close fight i'll give you that much but in no way was trout robbed.

As someone who can see that fight possibly being scored for Trout, imo the only reason that fight is debatable is due to the open scoring and Alvarez taking the last couple rounds off knowing after the knockdown in round 7 that there was no way Trout could win unless by KO.

I think Trout has a good chance at beating Lara and in a rematch the scores maybe closer but I think Alvarez beats him more decisively.

a Cotto matchup is a good bout Cotto is at the tail end of his prime but is still a HOF quality fighter, Alvarez imo beats every JMW right now he still has that relative off unknown because he hasn't had that constant string of bouts yet, people are down on his Mayweather performance because he decided to box which is probably the best strategy he just didn't have the intangibles to pull it off yet I could see him winning 4/5 close rounds vs Mayweather

Cotto probably takes the Martinez fight more glory in a Lineal MW title then he can still fight Alvarez or defend against Mayweather in a high profile rematch
