    It still baffles me how overrated Cotto is. He has no chance if this fight happens. Canelo is way too big for him.

    Cotto is a very small lmw while Canelo is a huge lmw. Realistically, this is a fight between fighters separated by 2 weight classes. If this was prime Cotto, i would say he had a shot but not right now. Canelo is just fast enough and skilled enough to put a beat down on Cotto.

    Cotto-Martinez is currently being negotiated. A Canelo fight will always be there for Cotto.

    They saying that to possibly get more money, thats all. Cotto can fight Canelo and still fight Martinez in June/July

    Canelo/Mayweather was a fight between 2 different weight classes. Canelo is big but he wont be much bigger then Cotto at all. Cotto has more power, better footwork and I think more accurate, and his staimna IS WAY BETTER meaning it will be hard for Canelo to win the championship rounds. how many times has Canelo went 12 anyways?? 5 or 6 times maybe?? and only twice against good competiton, we shall see

    i dont think the fight will happen. i remember cotto stating he wants to end his career with bob arum. in fighting canelo that wont happen. thats why i think cotto is going to fight martinez on hbo with top rank

    Personally, not interested a great deal in this fight, its a mismatch, Canelo is too big for Cotto. Canelo needs to start fighting at 160lbs unless he is going to fight Lara and Cotto should stick to 147lbs to be honest. However, the significant financial gain for Cotto would be too great to resist so good luck to the guy on a nice pay day for him.
