Cotto-Canelo is the biggest fight to be made in boxing, GGG can wait!

    Oh, agree 100%. I just think the OP means big financially. There are countless fights I'd rather see.

    Actually I even wonder if that is the case. Going by any metric I can find, casual fans that buy PPVs other than some segment for Floyd and possibly to a smaller degree Manny do not exist.

    PAC-Floyd obviously had casual crowd...

    But Cotto and Canelo, and as far as I can tell both of them matched up will draw no casuals to speak of. They will have ethnic contingents, and boxing fans (which tend strongly toward the Latin demographics in general). But going by Cotto and Canelo PPV performance w/o Floyd, I would say current ethnic fans willing to drop PPV money might turn out to be smaller than expected.

    Its hard to put a number on the PR-Mexico rivalry though, so maybe it does better than anticipated. But who knows how much that is even still in the current generation.
