Cotto-Canelo pretty much DONE DEAL!! Nov 7th MGM, Nov 21 Thomas and Mack!!

    I CANT WAIT!!! I expect both fighters bleeding, huge bombs, both probably get dropped!! Finally a mega fight that will live up to hype! Only way it doesnt is if Cotto beats the **** out of Canelo which he might.

    As for venues and i know alot about both (Gotta love living in Vegas!)

    MGM is very nice of course! reason why most fights are there is because once the fight is over they want you to go straight to gambling which most do. Also many places to eat in there but Main Factor Is gambling.

    Thomas and Mack is very nice and my preferred venue. MGM fits 16,800 Max while THmoas and Mack can fit up to 19,500!! Fight will sell out very quick so Thomas and Mack should be it because you should let as many fight fans see this and an extra 3k people is great for fans/Promoters etc etc. Also the fights look alot better there from a fan POV. MGM is nice but some of there nose bleeds are a little rough. theres no bad seat at the Mack! I hope its there!!

    I'm way more excitied for this fight then any fight probbly in my lifetime. I thought May-Pac was gonna be a mismatch (and it was) Cotto-Canelo is a closer fight and I know both fighters gonna bring it! I think Cotto can Box Canelo ears off but at least I know canelo wont back down and go out swinging!!

    TWO MEGA FIGHTS IN ONE YEAR!!! WHAT A YEAR FOR BOXING!!!!!! WOOHOOOOOOOOO!!!!! :bbb:bbb

    I bet Haymon is too busy reserving all the venues in Nevada and Cali so this fight happens in Montana or some sh!t :-(

    Putting a little bit of money on Canelo winning straight up, but will definitely be rooting for Cotto..

    Either way, a win win situation for me, I'm excited.

    These two are always a pleasure to watch, I dislike Cotto having that belt because it's left a sour taste in many people's mouths the way he won it and then defended it but he is still a pleasing fighter with an very good but not elite CV full of passionate performances, a nice humble guy and a credit to the sport to have around for the most part. Canelo has shown he is willing to be a throwback and fight all comers, sure he's skrap3d by against Lara and Trout but that's boxing and he's very young. Done what is necessary against simpler guys like Angulo and Kirkland and Mosley, great resume and a naive Mayweather showing. If he beats Cotto, his resume becomes serious business, if Cotto beats him, it becomes a concrete pillar of his Roach era resurgence, a no footnotes attached impressive victory.

    Because one is Canelo turf and one is Cotto turf, so the settled in the middle. Plus T&M reportedly made good offer, wanted to get a high profile fight again.

    Venue will be decided depending which Casina hosts the event.If it's the MGM then they will have the fight in their building-but if its Wynn Resorts then the fight will be held at the T&m.HBO PPV will broadcast the event.
    You don't have to live in Vegas to know whats going on.:lol:
