its a complete joke, the wbc love them a champion from the Americas and will bend over backwards to accomidate them even if it means making a mockery of the sport. They are so far allowing cotto to go at least a year and 9 months without facing a mandatory. This is a disgrace , the ibf and wbo enforce mandatories at least once a year, no exceptions, eg look at wlad vs leapai
on top of that there hasn't been a mandatory wbc middleweight fight since at the very least the days when Chavez junior held the title which was at least 4 years ago

I feel bad for GGG, but this is a fight that everyone wants! I think Cotto can pull it off. Canelo better go into that ring motivated to win.

I hope Canelo takes this fight seriously, and trains his @ss off. I think Canelo will have to T/KO Cotto to win.

Too Mexican bias for Cotto. Same way if they fought in New York, too bias for Cotto. Las Vegas is somewhat fair if Oscar does not spent a fortune hiring judges like he did in the Floyd and Lara fights.

Man, about a year ago id go with Canelo to win this fight but with Cottos stamina and new found punching power i think hes going to outwork canelo for the win.

This is a close fight for many reasons. Whoever thinks this would be cakewalk for either fighter is a moron
