Probably be a boring, uneventful fight, with Cotto landing enough bodyshots to get a UD against the suppsoedly 'hard hitting' Cintron.
I proposed this right after his victory. I think it would make a good fight, as was the case Cintron Vs Angulo. I don't think Arum would put Cotto in with Angulo but maybe Cintron. And with the fact that Williams isnt going to rematch Cintron, which is a huge duck/travesty. Who does that leave for Cintron at 154? What other options does Cotto have?
Why does eveyone seem to overlook Cory Spinks? I mean after Foreman, the guy was probably the weakest title holder in the division. Even the great flying Cintron would mince this guy!
cotto would land a left hook to the liver knocking cintron down cintron will complain about it being a low blow after being counted out.
I would watch it and I think a lot of other people would too. That's what it boils down to, right? Butts in seats.
Cotto would outbox him, cutting him down with body shots. Once in a while Cintron would catch Cotto. There will be a time when Cotto gets dazed like most his fights against big hitters, then Cotto would hold on and win on points.
When was he decent? When he got his ass whooped by Zab? When he got schooled by Taylor? This clown has been lucky he's held into his belt for so long! Anyone in the top 15 at 154lbs would beat him, he is just holding on - fighting as little as possible and hoping he doesn't get matched up against someone who can beat him. But you can't run forever...
