After having done AS level Maths I have come to the conclusion that the whole subject is a load of bollocks.

ater doing 2 years Standard Grade and 1 week of higher i could have told you taht

its utter bull**** i dont know why they dont teach you practical stuff, right now were doing the equations of a straight line thats really handy when the **** do you walk into a graph with a straight line and go ah yes y=mx+c

and even stuff like trigonometry and sin rule

why the **** do you need to do real complicated ones youll never use it.

and as for standard deviation its utter shite it has no meaning what so ever

    its utter bull****

Too much competition from you and Ishy in the boxing knowledge stakes.

**** off the pair of ya's, so me, Gaz and the rest of the old ****ers can rule the roost.

Yeah, there is like a guy on the Classic forum (you'll know him) called John Garfield (is that right) who comes out in Ray Robinson threads with something like: "Yeah that was great fight, I was sitting four rows back from ringside that night" - that kinda knowledge just blows my head off, to actually be there:scaredas:

yeh JG is great i enail him abit to get his views on upcoming fights and to here stories about the fighters he also gives me feed back on my fights (and says i box like Pep)

his knowledge of the 40-50s NY fight scene is amazing and that was THE scene in the day i love them 50s fighters and they always seemed to fight in NY. A great insight into it

But Gaz is good as he knows like his 70s-80s british scene pretty well and i ask him if i ahve any questions on it

D-MAC i didnt think you was that old, i thought you was about mid 20s

Yep, John Garfield. He posts stuff on 40's and 50's world class boxers who have given him pointers in the gym. Amazing!!

Cheers mate but it was an easy sport to follow back then. Every decent fight was on BBC1 or ITV.
