did pw not start his career at MW???atsch and how many margarita fights have you seen he always comes in 160 or better...like i said if you trained before like i said you would know they were draining and its not safe that was my whole point (you said yourself IF they can do it safely,well they dont)of why they should be at MW...try not taking in any fluids for 4-5 days and i guarantee you lose 8-10lbs only problem is you might just die..when you rehydrate you will will put back on the 10lbs..might even put back on 15lbs..that is not natural and if you have to do that you should switch weight classes

 

I haven't seen too many Margarito fans around lately. Seems as though they are a dying breed.

 

I've been watching Margarito for about 6-7 years now. His weight has never been an issue.

You don't know what's safe, and all this "If you trained...." garbage you're saying doesn't make you Teddy Atlas. The ONLY fact is you have no clue about these guys.

You just don't wabnt Floyd to fight one of these bigger guys, plain and simple.

I hope I don't come accross as one of those "PBF is ducking __________" guys. I want to see him give the other champions a shot at his welterweight title and believe there are a couple fighters who could give him real trouble. But I also am able to see things from his perspective and how it makes sense for him to call it quits.:good

Floyd's haters are way more than this fans, way more to the point where they only decided to cheer for him during the fight when the English fans disrespect the country. As I said, check out the threads, every thread around that praises Mayweather's performance and for bringing a great event for the sport some hater crawls out of nowhere. The rest of the threads are just pure HATE and extremely poor criticism(Like the Cotto one).

 

i could care less if pbf fought them or not..he beats them both IMO anyway..its just they should be in another weight class...

Have had endless arguments with him 1 year ago, believe that?, EXACTLY 1 year ago and it was the Baldomir fight. Had more with him before that as well and he still brings the same bull**** over and over then as he's getting owned he'll start insulting. Being a Floyd fan automatically makes you a "Floyd boy" in his worthless imagination. This guy is a clown, PERIOD. Before the Judah fight he was pissed and said that Floyd should fight Baldomir, THE REAL UNDISPUTED CHAMPION instead of Judah or Margarito(sitting as a spare just incase Floyd does indeed fight Baldomir), then Floyd fights Baldomir he should fight, guess?, Margarito. Floyd moves up and decides to fight DLH and he's a "chicken" for ducking the almighty great Margarito(who struggles with the likes of Daniel Santos), I could swear that he also mentioned Hatton as a great opponent during our discussions, now he meets Hatton and Cotto is the almighty KING of all, together with Paul Williams(the new spare).

You want my honest opinion of the fights with the clown being ignored?, here's how I see it. Paul Williams will be a WAY tougher fight for Floyd than Cotto in my opinion. The honest people criticizing Floyd wanted him to fight someone who would put in a lot of pressure. Floyd picked 2 in a row. DLH, at Light Middleweight(Floyd's first fight at the weight) with all the advantages on DLH's side(Smaller ring, smaller gloves, less money than previously offered and whatever else I'm forgetting) yet Floyd won a close fight(I scored it for DLH, by the way). Then Floyd picks Hatton and beats him as well in impressive fashion. Two very good sluggers than gave Floyd HELL till he won. I would rather see Floyd fight someone else because let's be honest, if DLH and Hatton couldn't do it then Cotto wouldn't in my opinion, don't forget that Cotto CAN'T take a good punch, especially punches he doesn't see which Floyd will land A LOT considering he's way faster and DOES have power, which is why I would rather see him fight Williams. My prediction?, Mayweather defeats Cotto by UD(a TKO isn't impossible) and beats Williams by SD(might even lose that one, anything is possible). Conclusion?, Williams is a new type of challenge, the likes of Margarito/Cotto aren't considering he just beat DLH/Hatton who are sluggers, not 100% the same of course but still they're sluggers.
