Of course it was gutzy but you guys are making that the point. Clottey was in the fight before the butt.

All I here is that Cotto won with one eye. Yea it was streaming into his eye and it wasn't helping him but he seemed to be more mentally struggling with it. By pawing at something you know won't go away.

I saw Clottey continuously lose his footing in the center of the ring, that damn slick ass mat. They should do away with anything but straight canvas surface. I saw plenty of occasions where Clottey was setting up for a combo but lost his footing.

The eye is not an excuse for Cotto's performance he didn't box enough or remploy the right tactics.

Cotto is a true warrior, though I think the loss to Margo somehow damaged him mentally and physically.

I do not want to see Pac fight Cotto because I will have to root for Pac but I really like Cotto.

    Utter, utter horsesh!t!

Clottely was the one seeking attention from the ref with his footballing antics! His slipping, sliding and pratfalling, his knee that was injured for all of about 20 seconds before he realised it wasn't going to play with the ref, his turning his back on Cotto and also attempting to wrench out Cotto's arm. This ringing any bells? McFly, McFly..?

Cotto soldiered on and won the fight despite a horrible and very real injury. Suck it up.

Yeah, he could have feigned a knee injury or claim to be hurt by an inconsequential punch behind the head.
