Not sure about school; Chavez already has immense size and a style that complements it. I used to think Cotto would beat him easily but now Jr. has come along nicely as an infighter. I still think Cotto could beat him by alternating between landing the cleaner shots inside and out-maneuvering him on the outside with his movement and jab, but the cost would likely be too great, even in victory.

Cotto is way to small to deal with Chavez, he thought Margarito whipped his ass, this Chavez kid is much stronger than Margarito was at 147 and he's fresh. Cotto really doesn't need that kind of ass whipping at his age. I don't see how he could beat Chavez at this point. Chavez is improving and on the upswing and Cotto is on the down swing or golden years of his career. He'd be better suited fighting Canelo who won't pursue him all night, Cotto does not like those types of fights.
