chavez is too big. he makes margarito look like a lightweight. cotto wouldn't even come close to denting chavez's chin, and chavez would steamroll him. he could do nothing to stop chavez's come forward onslaught.

Cotto is by far better boxer than chavez,but he is too small for him.

 

cotto would get stopped within 5 rounds by jr. too big, too strong and improving. cotto is slipping and even at his best, was just a good but not great fighter. cotto often appears to have stamina problems around the 7th round of his fights. i attribute that to nerves and trying to be faster than his natural speed and wears himself out doing so.
