If De La Hoya agrees to his May date with Miguel Cotto, wouldn't Hatton vs Malignaggi added to the bill make this a fantastic double header at the garden next year. If Hatton beats Paulie do you think he would step up for the challenge of facing Cotto/De La Hoya winner later on the year?
Hatton won't be on the undercard. There's too much money in having Hatton as a headliner. Plus I think DLH-Cotto, should it happen, takes place in Vegas. Sure Cotto can sell out MSG, but a Vegas casino with Oscar De La Hoya headlining will outbid MSG.
How about Cotto/Mayweather with Hatton/Malignaggi on the undercard. While we are at it throw Ding/O'Neill Bell on there. :happy :happy
Is Cotto/DLH REALLY gonna happen? I thought I was in the loop on this stuff, I guess not. :blood What is the latest news on this?
Or all those Don King PPV cards in the mid 90s. Of course, that scumbag King was probably stiffing them in order to get them on the undercard.
I dont think the OP meant Hatton on the undercard. I think it was both being Headline events, just on the same card.
Imagine going to the Leonard/Benitez Welterweight championship fight (SRL KO15) and seeing Hagler/AntuofermoI for the Middleweight championship on the undercard  (controversial draw btw). Those days are gone..:verysad
