He will make a ton of money for little retirement fund. He has a slight chance in the fight, in my oppinion. Styles make fights and just because he struggled against Trout, does not mean that he will struggle against the Ginger bread boy! They are both really smart in the ring and are more physically evenly matched up than Autin and Cotto were.

It's a given Canelo has the edge in power but I don't think he has an advantage so much in speed or boxing ability. Cotto also hits harder than Austin and he kills the body on his good nights. Canelo showed us in round number 6 against Trout that he does not like it to the body much Austin had him realling.

I will be rooting for Cotto although I am pretty sure that Canelo will most likely win the fight. Should Cotto win however it would give us probably the biggest PR vs. Mexico upset since Kermit the frog derailed the Angulo the dog, gravy train.

    Peace:bbb

I'm a huge Cotto fan and I'd love to see this fight, but Cotto is coming off of two losses and nothing in his last fight against Trout indicated to me that he can get the W over Canelo. Both fighters seem to tire in the later rounds which in my opinion favors Cotto since he has far more experience going 12.

Canelo showed good headmovement and boxing ability against Trout. Based on his performance and power/size advantage I'd pick canelo via tko/decision
It would be a good scrap to add to the MX vs PR rivalry:D

Cotto is coming of two straight losses he doesnt deserve ****.

And at this point in time a fight with Canelo wont be good for his health.

This fight has one sided career ending beating written all over.

He does deserve the money but i think he doesnt have much left in him so he will earn every penny of that money, good fight for Caenlo to get even more famous and popular he probably is the next great star that will make kind of money Pac and Floyd got once they retire, but as long as he stays at 154 at 160 Sergio and GGG would stop him, while Sergio will retire in year GGG will fight for at least 6 more years.

:patsch Cotto to beat GGG?? Cotto is to small maybe to beat some good ranked 154 contender but GGG no way is Cotto big enough for 160!

Cotto is defo a second option for Canelo, But the "PR Vs. Mexico" always sells.
Personally I'd like to see what Alvarez does with the WBA belt will he drop it?
(Trout Vs. Cotto II also a good fight for Miguel mabye for a vacant WBA?)

This is a non-fight - Cotto will be running all night and will inevitably get KO'd badly...
Cotto should try and fight Ishe Smith, get a title, go out on a high

not gonna lie.. did just look up GGG to find he has been at middleweight for a long time.. i always assumed he was a 154 fighter...THAT ONE WENT RIGHT OVER MY HEAD

but my point stands cotto does need to get a notable win to even be in the running. maybe vanes or lara?
