Jr WW? Cotto is coming in at 140 or below?:huh News to me. I thought he was fighting at WW at an agreed weight of 145? Which is only 1 pound lighter than his weight for Josh. Props to Miguel for taking the fight but not for facing a smaller man in PAC at an agreed catch weight within the WW limit.

"LIMIT" being the key word. Was the Josh vs Miguel fight a Jr WW fight b/c Cotto came in just under the Welter weight LIMIT?

Cotto had a 50% share on making this fight happen....after all he's not fighting himself on Nov 14th brah. Loosing 1 pound isn't going to cause him to be weight drained kid. If you are unsure of his capability to beat PAC that's fine....but don't try to make excues for a grown man should he loose.

It's a demand? Cotto made the call for the contracted weight to be 145. PAC never faught at 147...he just didn't make any stiuplations to a catch weight w/Oscar b/c DLH was coming down....PAC was coming up and they met somewhere in the middle....actually PAC jumpped up 2 weight classes and DLH dropped only one.

Hoya actually came in at 145 lbs. Many have speculated that 145 lbs. was the catchweight. That would make sense as I see no other reason why a seasoned vet would voluntarily come in two lbs. below the limit of a weight class he hadn't fought at in years.

I can't believe someone is insisting on their stupidity. How complicated is it to admit that you ****ed up and say that Junior welterweight is from 136 lbs to 140 lbs? Its ok everyone makes mistakes.

If Cotto took the fight with Pacquiao within those limits I wouldn't applaud him for taking the fight but make fun of him for being an idiot.

Just as a seasoned vert like Cotto would come in 146 for a 147 fight? **** DLH was probably 149 the night before, took a dump in the morning and ended up 145  DLH fcuked up his weight control, blame his team. They were trying out some weird nutritional stuff.

Is Cotto also getting credit for not putting his belt on the line?

So by your logic, a fat out of shape man that can't fight more then 5 rounds but has amazing punch resistance is considered a good thing? Sorry buddy but if you are boxing, the most important thing is to be in shape ready to fight for 12 or more rounds rather than take punishment for 12 rounds. **** off dude you're just trolling now.

Hoya weighed in on fight night at 147 lbs. His team claims that he was still 145 lbs on fight night, and that he weighed in with clothes on. Given this, it's very doubtful he weighed in at 149 lbs. the night before. Cotto fights at 147 lbs., so it's no big deal for him to weigh in 1 lb. less. On fight night, he was probably in the mid 150's or higher. I have never seen a guy come down in weight after not fighting in that weight class for years, weigh in 2 lbs. under the limit and then only rehydrate 2 lbs. the next day(his team claims he didn't rehydrate at all). To me it seems very weird that a guy of Hoya's experience level would **** up his weight that badly. It wouldn't surprise me at all if there was a contracted weight of 145 lbs. in that fight.
