Cotto deserves Massive respect

You tell em bro, too many people getting their knickers in a twist on this site. I was impressed with Cotto because that cut could have been a fight ender and he fought a smart fight against a dangerous opponent and won it by a comfortable margin in my opinion, Clotteys workrate was simply not high enough and anybody who disagree's needs to watch it again with the sound off

I concur- although I wouldn't have called Jennings one of the 'very best'. Let's not forget that Clottey was milking every 'foul' last night- Cotto aint ever been a cheating ******* and never will be- the lowblow was an accident as was the 'hit behind the head'. The unsilent minority are usually the haters though- people don't like giving credit for close wins. He never shirks a challenge does Miguel.

 

Its totally beyond me how Cotto can be critized for this fight. Its either ignorance or blind hate.

If you dont respect Cotto after last night, or after losing to Margo showing the heart he showed or looking at the 140 fights coming from the canvas and winning..then you either have not seen his fights or you are simply a heater...and partial on your boxing opinions....

 

I tell you who I lost all respect for...Margarito, he got caught cheating in the most dangerous of possible ways..his hand wraps....

Banned for life, revocking his liscence ..period....that is who I lost all respect...all

cotto put in a hell of a performance last night to win that fight.clottey was good too but lost his chance by going to sleep in round 10 and 11.i have more respect for cotto after pulling out a gutsy victory like that.the people who say they lost respect for him should go watch tennis if they didnt like that fight
