I liked this site better when you were banned for posting little boy pictures in the lounge.

Well it seems that both camps are insisting that there fighter are so ready to win. I would expect that anyways because when have you heard from a camp that the fighter was not ready or was not going to win? We will not know how well the preparation was until Cotto and Margarito stand in the ring and see the strategy they employ. Can't wait for this fight.

The change that a lot of people are giving to Margo is because his style, that is perfect to beat a guy like cotto, everyone knows cotto is better but that style is a nightmare for Cotto, but props to Cotto for taking this fights he has a lot of Cojones. margo look like a easy fights for other fighters but is a hard fight for someone like cotto, that have short arms a need to fight inside, and margo is a monster inside.

Dude, you are exactly right. I can't believe how many people are putting so much into Marg KO'ing Cotto with one big shot.

This is a terrible thing to assume seeing as Margarito is not a power puncher, he is an accumulation type fighter. Most, if not all, of his KO's have come to those who are C Class fighters with an occasional B class fighter in there.

Cotto isnt just going to stand there and take multiple shots at one time. I'm not going to sit here and say Cotto isnt going to get hit b/c he will but to think Margarito is going to catch him with an array of punches that will KO him is ridiculous.

Cotto will keep Margarito at bay with his strong, superior jab. There will be times when they engage, but I'm sure Cotto will fight smart and only engage when necessary or he feels comfortable.

I just dont see Margarito KO'ing Cotto. Is it possible, of course it is, but not probable.

How is Margo's style perfect to beat Cotto? He is easy to hit without significant one punch power. Cotto is an offensive machine, power in both hands. Elite boxing skills and grade A handspeed. The style to beat him is an elusive defensive fighter who can outspeed him and outbox him....Floyd Mayweather. A fighter with holes in his guard and slow hands will be battered....A Margarito.

I can definitely understand where you are coming from. However, I believe that Margarito has been known for being a monster inside against inferior competition. A good example is Clottey. He looked very ordinary against Clottey (although Clottey does have the Winky type defense)

I think his looping punches will be bad for him against a compact puncher like Cotto.

Again, I do see how his style can be dangerous.

I'd like to add that FLoyd will only beat Cotto if he lets his hands go. There is no way he can potshot his way to a victory like he did against Baldy or DLH.

I'm not saying he definitely will, Cotto could definitely beat him. Just saying that he has a style more likely to beat him then Margo.

I feel you. I'm glad you're not like Fitz, Grap, and BigTime who just think Floyd is God and completely unbeatable.

Those picking Margarito are severely overrating his toughness. He's got a grade A chin nobody's going to argue with that, but that kind of physique, the tall lanky type, just fails against bodyshots. It's like an axe chopping a big redwood... it will take time, but it's going to fall. Margarito is going to feel the pain. It's absolutely ridiculous how they make it out like Margarito's just going to walk through a ton of punches without his proclivity to throw a bazillion punches just drop, after getting a-bombed to the gut time after time.

That Cotto chin too, is also underrated. Massively underrated. All times he was in big trouble he put himself back together and stopped them all. Margarito is a great finisher no doubt, but I believe Cotto can take the pressure, he's been there before. If Margarito fails to hurt Cotto he will lose.

The clearest advantage Cotto has over Margarito is his versatility. We all know Margarito will try to overwhelm with his firepower whilst hoping he can take Cotto's best punches, and we also know that is all he can, and will do! Margarito doesn't have a plan B to fall back on. This was too evident in the Williams fight. And that will be the downfall of Margarito, his skillset and ability to adjust is just too limited.
