God damn it - it's still different. Fighters can come in anywhere between 141-147. They train to come in at or below 147. If they come in at 146 or 145 so be it; had they been 147 it still would have been ok. Catchweights change that. For this fight, Cotto will have to train to come in at or below 145, as opposed to 147. How don't you understad that it is a catchweight for Cotto? If he weighs in at 146, it will not be acceptable. Had there ben no catchweights, it would have been fine. I think we're going to have to agree to disagree on this one (I don't think we'll ever be on the same page). Just enjoy the fight - I know I will.

He is only a pound less at 145lb compared to 146lb on his last match.. And now people bitchin about having it on 147? Doesnt make sense.

This fight should be a title match just for a reason thats its that huge of a freakin fight. ***** Cotto.

Nobody is bitching about the pound, just agreeing with Cotto that if Pac wants the belt on the line, there should be no catchweights. If cotto loses, hell drop in the rankings anyway and his title will be useless.

Bottomline is for all those that keep saying the weight dont matter, if it didnt matter they wouldnt be fighting over it...It makes a difference, whichi s why Pac and roach want Cotto at 145, but really that wanted 143, this after them saying that weight wasnt a factor...

And for the pac moron that posted that Leonard Hearns fight...NO ONE TOLD THE OTHER THAT THEY HAD TO WEIGHT LESS. Sometimes you just get under the weight...

Stupid **** . . . learn to read before you make any comment. I posted that because some idiot was claiming that the belt cannot be on line if the fighters are not at 147 lbs.

Now get the **** out of my face . . . idiot!

Anybody saying it CAN'T be on the line is wrong. I never said it can't be, I said in my opinion it shouldn't be unless they fight without catchweights. Bottom line is that it's up to them to decide. Anybody who says Cotto's scared is dumb. It's still a business and Cotto is still negotiating his pay. He's not going to cave when they're still negotiating.
