    well check this:

    Shouldn't have to lose? Mandated at 147?

    Fighters at welter doesn't have to come in at exactly 147 pounds to fight at welter. What is the welter limit? 141 to 147 therefore 145 is within the welter limit. :deal

    :rofl :lol:

    Regardess, it will still be a WW fight - just with some added rules. I think as a result of these extra rules, they should fight, but without the belt on the line.

    But I really don't give a **** anymore. If the belt is on the line, I'm watching the fight - If it's not on the line, I'm still watching the fight. They can decide that ****. I still think it's foolish for people to say Cotto is scared though. Has nobody seen what negotiations are like?! Contracts are not signed yet, and Cotto is negotiating his pay.

    Yes dumb **** . . . catchweight . . . a catch weight which is still well within the welter limit. A catch weight like the DLH's case where he has to get down away from 154 is a different case. :deal

    Exactly my point . . . it's still a WW fight.

    I myself doesn't care about the belt . . . I'm just arguing on technicality. :D

    exactly. you're just arguing just to argue. pad your posts all you want.

    I've been saying all along, the belt SHOULDN'T be on the line if its a catchweight.

    Nah nah nah . . . because you quoted me with your stupid opinion that Cotto shouldn't have to lose his belt if the fight is not at 147.

    You and eze are both arguing based on bull**** opinions.:deal

    then cotto should be given that right to defend his belt at 146-147. like you said, 141-147 is the welterweight class. 146-147 is also welterweight.

    and its not a bull**** opinion, like i've stated before only *******s WANT the belt and a 145 catchweight. I think you'll find a lot others who agree with me and eze and countless others on this thread.

    Have a good day.

    this arguement sucks. you act like cotto does not want this fight. cotto has alot to gain in fighting pac so i dont see what the problem is. pac is putting his p4p title on the line against a guy that will outweigh him 10 pounds and cotto cant put his belt on the line. straight up ***** move.

    I'm a *******, pacteron or whatever you call it but doesn't really matter to me if the belt is on line or not all that matter is the most exciting fight of the year is coming soon. The abc belts is just a plus factor. If cotto doesn't want to give his balls away then fine. Anyways pac will win this:bbb

    Cotto has all the right to defend his belt at the welter limit that's 141 to 147 not only at 146 and 147 . . . if he doesn't want to put it on the line at 145 fine . . . then don't sign the contract.

    End of story. :deal

    oh I forgot that one.
    I think I should start a thread like this:
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    WHO's got bigger balls? pac or cotto
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

    pac give a lot of risk. instead of fighting bums out there he is now fighting one of the bester welter today and fighting a bigger guy. Remember he is the P4P king and that is in risk too.

    Unlike the previous $for$ king that retire and avoided cotto, mosley and margarito and comeback to fight the (what he said) p4p #1 and take note that guy was a lightweight champ being ask to go up 144.

    It doesn't make sense. Cotto gets a % of the purse also. The fight will make more money with the title on the line.
