"exposed" is such a terrible word to use when 2 top fighters are fighting each other. i dont think a top fighter can expose another top fighter. it would just simply be that the better man won that fight.

i think "exposed" is when a supposed "top fighter" or great young prospect gets beaten or nearly beaten by someone who is class beneath them.

Examples)
Mayweather didnt expose Hatton. He just beat his ass b/c mayweather is that much better.

Cotto was a bit exposed by Corley and Torres, but one can argue for him b/c of his weight issues.

Judah was not exposed by Kostya. He just got KTFO.

Juan Diaz may have been exposed by Campbell

If someone like Berto, Juan Lopez, or Gamboa were to go and lose to some Journeyman bumbs, then that would be getting exposed (like Judah against Baldy)

 

the guy is true world class pro,he can be beaten but not exposed hes proved himself already.

 

Margarito is garbage though. We can't give him any value now, that would be insincere. Cotto is going to beat Margarito because Cotto is many levels above Margarito, and because Margarito is a hype, and because Margarito has poor technique and he's a sloppy operator. Cotto is a going to win because he's the "better fighter." Right? Remember?

 

I definitely think Cotto is going to win b/c he is the better fighter. But I do not think Cotto will "expose" margarito b/c margarito is a good fighter in his own right.
