It was a good plan for Cotto to start the fight. He was hitting Margo power shots after power shots in different angles countering him then back pedalling. The problem is that Margo with a steel chin is not being hurt and it was Cotto being affected with Margo's relentless pressure and uppercuts. Cotto has no plan b to bring to the table and got broken down on the later rounds. Still moneys worth and this is how should boxing be this days.

Styles make fights its that simple. Margo as i predicted had the style to beat Cotto. That doesnt suddenly elevate him to the next level when his very long in the tooth and has been around the 147 mix for some time now. Theres no question that Margo WOULD give Oscar some problems but Oscar definitly has the tools and power to outbox Margarito easily.

You say ran.....But I say he boxed. Unfortunately he didn't Box or "run" enough. Other wise his skills would have been a bigger factor in the outcome of the fight. Cotto faught a fight he shouldn't have agaisnt a fighter like Margarito. Cotto paid the price for Brawling too much and not using his feet and countering ability as much as he should have.

Had Miguel Cotto not ran as much as he did, he would have been stopped even earlier. He can't go toe to toe with Margarito because even though he'll hit Margarito more and with better shots, he cannot stop him. He just can't do it. Margarito eventually breaks him down again.

cotto was countering at will, second half of the fight got to him. He started feeling the body shots. He didn't run like de la hoya.

Well, what can I say. Only a newbie can say something so stupid.
Cotto was hitting Margarito all the time. He wasn't running. He was boxing. And hitting pretty damn good. Margarito is just very strong and Cotto ran out of gas. The only solution to that is to train harder. But to call Cotto a quitter is demostrate how stupid you are. He was beat. There was nothing left. He was swallowing blood during 8 rounds. But I guess people who has never done **** in their lifes can't understand that

Ignore him mate. His life is more insignificant than the toe jam on Cotto`s feet.

Cotto having a hard time putting Zab away was a red flag.

I have to say Cotto went down on accumulation of punches and out of gas. But he demostrated his chin is pretty good. Not like Margarito. But pretty damn good

"running" was the best move he made all night, it allowed him to time his shots and land precise, accurate punches.
