I agree. From the fights I've seen Lopez in, I feel he doesn't have the ability that he has largely been billed to have.

Lopez is'nt ready for Gamboa, heck no one is! Gamboa's handspeed is out of this World, he is deadly accurate and moves extremely quick with his feet, he does'nt stand still in any spot. Those type of fighters are extremely difficult to hit clean and Lopez's speed is normal. Lopez will have an extremely hard time trying to land on Gamboa's face while Gamboa will find Lopez's face very easily all night long and that will be exactly Lopez's downfall.

Just look at Mtagwa, he went down from a Gamboa right hand that was lighting fast, Mtagwa did'nt see that punch coming at all and those are the punches that hurt the most, the ones that you don't see coming and Yuri's firepower is insanely fast, accurate, powerful and precise...

Another thing, like I said earlier, Lopez as an amateur was miles behind Gamboa. Lopez lost in his opening bout at the 2004 Olympics, he did'nt even advance at least to the quarterfinals, he was " eliminated " right from the start! Gamboa won that event...That tells you that Gamboa is " miles ahead " of Lopez technically speaking even though that it was the amateurs...

Lopez is way too slow to hit Gamboa hard, and Lopez is way too easy to hit in the face! Just watch in all of his fights everyone hits him clean all the time, even the C fighters like Mtagwa have no problem tagging him all night long! No doubt, Gamboa will get Lopez KO'ed even possibly in the first round, this is why I believe that the Gamboa-Lopez so called mega fight will not live up to it's expectations as Gamboa will get rid of him very quickly!!!

Yuriorkis Gamboa is a " Cuban Jewel ", very rare and one of it's kind...

I think Gamboa's style mirrors the way Cotto was at 140, before the weight issues forced him to move up.

Agreed. It's pretty easy to see the comparison when you look back at Cotto coming up. I do think Gamboa might end up being even better when it's all said and done.

Horrible **** poor comparison and not even close. You should disable your account for even making such a comparison.

You're one to talk...you hardly know **** yourself. At least this kid wasn't arrogantly putting his comparison out there like solid truth. Whilst you swear you're knowledge of the sport is greater?:rofl

    You're an assclown :hi:

Cotto's more composed, thinks more, is more methodical & patient
Gamboa's faster, more open, flashier, moves better on his feet from what I've seen.
I don't see many similarities but I haven't seen a lot of Gamboa.
