Cotto fans! Could/should Miguel Cotto go back down to junior-welterweight?

I don't think its realistic. He looked like death warmed at the Malignaggi weigh in, and that was a good few years ago.

His body can only have developed into welterweight since then, even though he's not a big one.

imo i think he's fine at welterweight. he looked ill at jw and his punch resistance was really poor at jw. to many fighters use weight as excuse for losing but i don't see cotto doing that. he just couldnt keep up the pace he was forced to fight by tony.

nahhh.. he's more suited at welter... besides, his chin was weaker when he was at 140lbs.

No, he'll rightfully stay at 147 and UD Margo in the summer.

No when They showed him side be side with margarito for the weigh in he looked skinnier than fight night, I think he came down a little for the weigh in, so I doubt he could go back to Jr welterweight without hurting himself.

Cotto has said repeatedly he cannot make 140 anymore. I wouldn't be surprised to see him move up to 154 though.

He was dry as hell at 140, he would weigh in looking drained and sallow, he is much stronger and has more power and stamina at 147. 147 perfectly suits him
