Cotto fans need to start thinking about Clottey.

Cotto does not strike me as the type to underestimate any fighter & he would be wise not to underestimate a guy such as Clottey, whom I think is the most underrated guy at Welter & one of the most underrated guys currently in the sport!

Clottey will be coming to win, make no mistake about that. I expect Clottey to be in solid condition, ready for the task ahead! However, despite his loss to Margarito, Cotto seems to have come back stronger, mentally at least!

Miguel seems to be a strong minded person so maybe he has not been affected mentally by the loss! Granted, we cannot draw much from his last fight, a pretty straight-forward win over Michael Jennings.

Cotto is the superior technician, the better boxer. if its a trade-up, then I think this may favour Clottey, maybe not.

Should be a cracking fight & I expect a big performance from Miguel. If he were to score a TKO then that would be a very significent result!

 

Cotto needs to win this fight or his career is in serious trouble

 

There's no reason to worry about Clottey....he's getting knocked out.

 

Cotto also gave Judah a beating, Clottey fought a very out of shape Corrales and there is still a question mark on the Margarito fight! I know Clottey is a very tough figther but I think Cotto has what it takes to beat him.

I dont think so, hes already fought good competition. This would just show hpow good Clottey really is.

Of course people will say it will be because of his problems out of the ring. Very close fight, the more I think about it its really a 50/50 fight.:bbb

 

Not an easy fight for Cotto, but Cotto has the better skillset and ring smarts, that will win him the fight. Stylistically, Cotto has the advantage too; yes he has a semi leaky defense, but Clottey isn't huge puncher, nor does he throw with a large volume to trouble Cotto. Cotto by UD.

 

Cotto fans don't need to think about Clottey...Cotto does...and i'm sure he's focused because before this fight he never watched video his opponent past fights. For the first time he's actually watching and studying Clottey's fights...something his uncle was dead set against. Trust me Cotto is focused!!
