How many people think Marg won against Williams?

 

Marg would have beaten him wraps or not.

 

Williams had a great chin and marg was coming on strong in the end, it just wasnt enough.

I was a huge Margarito fan prior to the hand wrap debacle. Prime Margarito came up 1-3 rounds short in the Williams fight. Just started way too late and not enough rounds to make up the difference.

People often debate how long Margarito's been plastering up his wraps but what there's little debate on is that Margo was plastered to his eye balls against Cotto.

 

how do you know he used the wraps vs paul williams? at least we have some pictures of the cotto fight and its more likely because the cotto fight was 1 fight before mosley so. . . .

I too wanted to give Margarito the nod, but he lost to Williams, period. Those who wanted to give Margarito the nod probably felt that way since Margarito came on in the last 4 to 5 rounds; however, Williams still out-punched/worked Margarito in the 12th. Crazy stamina by Williams and Margarito in that fight.

 

He didn't use wraps against williams.

Maybe Williams crew was all up in the wrapping process and did NOT lay back like team Cotto did.

 

i think he did use them vs williams that's why williams cant take a punch anymore margos plasters soften him up and now anybody can get him in bad condition
