I can appreciate your enthusiasm as a fan, but that is not the boxing that i love to watch. There's something to be said about that never quit attitude, but everything has a limit, permanent injury is not the goal.

Antonio Margarito is a man with little boxing ability, not much athleticism! Yet he's a 3 time world champion.. His accomplishments come from being a super natural savage thats willing to literally die in the ring.. Take 4 punches to land 2. He's a seek and destroy fighter that has the right mentality when he enters that squared circle! All or nothing... SEEK AND DESTROY OR BE DESTROYED!! :deal.....:fire:fire:fire

Long layoffs/suspensions, devastating KO loss where he wasn't even competitive and just got demolished by Mosley (punch resistance goes down), a career ending 12 round sustained beating by Pac (punch resistance has to go down more, broken orbital bone, and multiple eye surgeries).

This is why people believe he will win and also maybe he will have learned his lesson and tie up when he needs to.

This. Prior to Margo's fight with Pac I would have chosen Margo over Cotto since Cotto has been looking a bit soft lately (relatively speaking of course).

But after the beating Margo took from Pac, I don't think Margo is as tough now and since Cotto will still be able to land at will on Margo early, I think he might stop him this time. Unless that is, Cotto gets on his bike again.

That sort of **** logic never works. But to play with this fantasy rationale...Mosley fought a completely out of shape Mayorga and looked incredibly bad and nearly lost that fight had he not literally took him out in the last seconds of the 12th...THEN goes on to KO Margarito right after in his next fight.

Cotto not only fought a much better Mayorga, but outboxed him and finished him much sooner.

Can't hurt him?? I will bet my life he was pretty sore for at least a week. If Cotto train as hard as he should and implement Mosley' s plan he can win. All Mosley did was hit him first and hold him before he could do anything about it.
Cotto hit him but was there to receive the counter punching.

That said, I honestly think Cotto stopped training like he should long ago. He might be motivate for this fight but I am not a fan of him training at sea level in Florida. I don't think he will win, I am hopeful
