Correct, did you see the 1st fight? Margarito was NEVER hurt, he walked through Cotto's best punches and kept coming, he was relentless.

What if Margarito's punches still hurt Cotto badly? What will then happen? Will there be a plan B incase the handwrap theories got burned down?

I doesnt take a master boxer to nullify margarito, he has employed the same gameplan fight after fight. He hurts his opponents with volume punching not single power shots. If he starts landing in bunches something is terribly wrong given that miguel has the tactical advantages.

The more technical fighter will usually have the advantage in a rematch; they're both equally "damaged", but Cotto just has to adjust a few things from the first fight to win.

Margo was the one fighting blow by blow against Pac for 12 rnds. Cotto only had 4 rnds then came the stinky running and chasing the rest of the fight. :nono

Taking the handwrap theories out of the way, the only way I see Cotto winning against Margo is if he does the smart boxing (probably running and jabbing on the other term) like he did against Manny from middle rounds onwards, takes it to the late rounds and win it by decision. Or if Margo probably gets worn out late, Cotto may have a chance to KO him there. He does the same thing from the first fight, I see similar outcome.

I don't think Cotto has declined as much as people on here say he has.

Margarito certainly has evidently declined not only physically (eye) but he's had long lay offs and 2 very bad losses since the first bout.

looks like you know nothing about boxing . boxing is a chess match hit and try not to get hit , your not supposed to absorb punches like a punching bag

A lot of fighters have already defied your beliefs.
If there had been God-given skilled fighters, there had also been God-given physically gifted fighters that came along.

Why don't you just stick to amateurs, you'll enjoy alot more boxing there than here in the pro fights

I'm not completely confident that miguel will win, but I'm rolling with him winning. Antonio's chin scares the **** out of me. However, after the beating he took from Pac, maybe his chin his damaged goods. At the same time, I also slightly feel that he still doesn't give a ****, he'll take anything from anyone. If Miguel can't hurt him, he's ****ed.

looking at margaritos last four fights and you'll get the answer he's not the same boxer he was before getting caught this is a battle of two damage fighters and i think cotto is the less damaged right now

Pac never hold him off. Only Mosley did that and it kinda look ugly to watch. Cotto will most likely do similar to what Pac did. Clinching is not just his style. :bart

He was talking about knocking out Mayorga. Hitting was no issue, in fact he could handily engage with Mayorga if he wanted to but he didn't cause Mayorga can't be taken lightly with those and he understands that Mayorga can change the wind once he starts landing himself on Cotto.
