Cotto fight may have taken toll on Margo too

It did take a toll....Margie peaked during the Cotto fight and is on the wrong side of the hill on his way down.

I'm curious if he had the cast in his gloves during the Cotto fight....
Margie got busted in the dressing room just before the fight.
THey had wet them already so they can set and harden during the fight.
Dirty ass fighter.

 

Margo didn't get messed up by Cotto, Shane systematically destroyed Margo and then knocked his ass out. Shane followed Paul Williams' blueprint.

Mosley smothered him and stayed off the ropes. Good gameplan, well executed.

Mosley is stronger than people think. Probably stronger today than he was in his prime.

I been saying those punches he took from Cotto were unreal. It had to have harmed him some how. IMO Cotto was hitting Margarito harder than Margarito was hitting Cotto.

Cotto isnt a big puncher and I was telling people that for a long time...Now that he has made the move to 147 he will have to be more of a boxer...Margo said that Cotto never buzzed him in the fight, and Shane said the same thing....While Shane admitted that Margo got him with some hard shots and Mosley knocked Margo out...Cotto isnt a big puncher

 

That's foolish thinking, Shane just had the perfect game plan against him. He couldn't find his rhythm and looked lost.

 

he got soften up just like tito used to soften opponents up for the golden boy what a cioncident the ricans soften the fighters for the golden boy and his crue

 

Actually he did, he just did it better than Paul did because he has better defense.

He outjabbed him so he couldn't get his rhythm, he tied him up on the inside so Margo couldn't get off, he traded with him when Margo tried to flurry.

its not an excuse. Cotto hit Margarito with massive shots. It had to have had an effect on him. Mosley is ALSO the better fighter
