Look if Cotto doesnt want the huge payday and huge exposure worldwide then dont put your title on the line. I would say I agree with Cotto but he just weighted 146 his last fight. so you dont want to put the title on the line at 145?? If Cotto doesnt like it then go fight Berto or give Clottey a well derserved rematch.

Now what if Mosley comes out and says he'll put his title on the line?? This could be a huge mess if Bob Arums punk ass dosent get stuff together, espcially annoucing the fight whens its not done yet.

I do want to see this fight and would be great for the fans, but if somehow this fight breaks down, who can Cotto fight?? I would say rematch Mosley but if Cotto isnt gonna fight Pacquiao then Mosley is. I guess it would be down to Berto or Clottey. so If I was Cotto I would put my title on the line and fight Pacquiao. what do you guys think?

Did Cotto weight 146 on the night - or at the weigh in?

And, in his fight with Pac, does Cotto have to weigh 145
on the night - or just for the weigh in?

he weighed 146 at the weigh in against clottey and would have to come in weighting 145 at the weigh in against pac.

Yep, so why not put the title on the line for 1 pound less?

It's a WW title fight..all other WW title fights are fought at the 147 lb limit...why should this one be different, cause Pacquiao is involved??

I disagree, Cotto was very cooperative with the negotiations. If pac wants the WW title, then let Cotto weight the WW limit, not the Catchweight limit.

Exactly. If 145 pounds is no big deal then whats wrong of fighting at 147 pounds in which it's the weight limit?

If Cotto doesnt like it then he can go fight Berto or Clottey and make 80% less. all I want to know is why all the fuss?? does Cotto think he doesnt have a shot and wants to keep the belt after he loses??
