Cotto finally seeks new Trainer

Rofl now it's too late, he should have done this along time ago.

 

He needs either Steward to teach him to utilize the beautiful jab he has or Mayweather to help him perfect his philly defense he already uses. I would prefer Mayweather. If he could teach Cotto some defense he would be a complete fighter.

its not too late, cotto doesn't need to learn anything new, he needs someone who can work with the tools he already has, someone who can set him the best gameplans to suit his style.

shields is ok, buddy would be better than santiago, roach, tommy brookes, dan birmingham or eddie mustafa muhammad would be perfect.

I agree with mayweather sr. I seen him trying to do the shoulder roll and fight off the back foot but he look awkward doing it and it's not effective. floyd sr could tighten his defense and sharpen his boxing ability

 

Manny Steward is the guy for Cotto in my estimation.

 

He would be better training himself.

 

Miguel got tremendous power no doubt. He just need to hone his defense more to protect his chin as it has always been questionable.

 

I know Nazim is with Shane but I would love to see him with Richardson. He can definately improve his condittioning, defense and way better strategy for the fights.
