If he can still miraculously go down to 147 NOW, this will still hold true. Cotto is no elite like Manny or Floyd, but he sure is a hell of a fighter. He is recently very much underrated here in ESB.
I think the version that Margarito beat has a chance at stopping the majority of 147lbers. He was awesome for long stretches of that bout. I'd say that version has the best chance against Mayweather and Pacquiao also (although I still believe they would beat him).
Yeah, I'd pick Cotto to stop: - Berto - Ortiz - Khan (when he moves up) - Maidana - Alexander He'd have a tricky time dealing with Bradley, though.
The only person that would even fight him clean would be Money. And we all know the horrific beating he would (and will May 5th) instill upon KNEEguel.
Khan's name shouldn't even be mentioned close to Cotto's. But boy would i love to see the thrashing Miguel would give him. :hey
But you don't have a problem with Maidana, a guy who he's beaten, and Alexander, who he's more or less on the same level with, being mentioned? :think Fair enough.
Oh wow, didn't even notice their names there to be honest..As soon as i saw Khan's name i pretty much went off.
Cotto would stop Khan,Devon,Maidana,Ortiz and probably beat Berto/Mosley easily on points. Tim Bradley is an interesting fight. Loses to Pac/Floyd though.
