Unless Martinez is severely washed up Sergio "The Super Middleweight Martinez" will give Miguel "the light middleweight" Cotto a vicious beating, the worst of his career...who agrees?

Disagree. He either khtfo or its a close fight. He's not Pac or Margarito who can prolong the beating. He has a lot of power so he can score that KO without the need to break him down.

If Sergio is shot and not 100% then Cotto will be fine.

Disagree. This will be a one punch sort of affair with Cotto taking a knee. Then Sergio will move in and get the TKO.

Margarito will forever be the worst beating he takes.

I think people may be understimating how TOUGH Martinez is...He can handle a couple of bad rounds...but has Cotto got the style, size and stamina to outbox Martinez over 12 rounds? I don't think so...

This would be quite the victory for Cotto...I doubt he'll get it though

    False.

    Martinez has nothing left.

Injuries and age have caught up with him.

He is a knockout waiting to happen.

If Sergio's body doesn't give up on him then he's got a great chance of stopping Cotto. If Sergio's body (particularly the knee) gives out then Cotto has a good chance of sneaking a MW belt eventhough he's in no way a real middleweight.

Cotto knocks him out and then retires.

If Cotto boxes and moves around he'll give Sergio hell, but if he stands and trades, he'll put up a good fight, even a flash knockdown of Maravilla, who always had bad balance. Has that Rj style based on reflexes best suited for younger fighters, not an old warhorse like Martinez. Didn't like how Maravilla mostly committed to pitty patty punches vs Murray, but according to Martinez he did break his hand. Cotto has always been strong no matter the weight. Maravilla by ko or stoppage, but he needs to be in top form. Anything less Cotto might surprise him.

I'm picking Martinez to stop Cotto.
