I agree ,unless Martinez shows his age and the rust catches up to him I see him knocking Cotto out

Margarito and Manny already did their bit.

He took very bad beatings from Margarito (loaded gloves) and Pacquiao. He was in the Margarito fight though. Pacquiao beat his ass from start to finish. I think Martinez and mayeb even stop Cotto but I don't see him getting all busted up like he did vs. Pac and the cheater.

I think Cotto is being severely underrated in this fight. Not saying he's going to win, but people are making it seem like he has no chance.

Martinez is a small middleweight, and Im not sold on his legs being healthy.
Cotto under Roach is very aggressive, and Cotto's chin isn't glass. He's been stopped due to accumaltion of punches, not 1 punch KO's.

Sergio IS NOT a knockout artist. He has power, but he's not a knockout artist. That P-Dubb KO was perfect timing, execution, etc. It's gonna be a very good fight.

Its in my city so I'll be going.

I dont wanna make a pick because theres too many unknowns.

How Junito will hold the weight.
How good are Sergio's legs. etc etc.

Watching this fight purely as a fan, not as a spectator.

3 years ago possibly. Now, not so sure, Martinez has been going in decline fast.

I think martinez get worse beating of his career.

hes not gonna be able to be mobile like he wwants to, hes gonna be down like 4 of his last 5 fights, to much body work, never fought against a guy with a skill level as high as Cotto while Cotto has been in there with the best

Yeah but Cotto once you hit him he goes into full retreat mode ..it's an interesting fight considering where they are in their careers .

the Martinez being crippled, on the decline , not being mobile statements are just as stupid as all the Arreola will be in shape and train hard this time coming in shape statements.
same mentality, people regurgitating the same crap about his decline. he was so much in decline he beat the **** out of chavez 11 1/2 rounds out of 12.

Not really. he throws down all the time. Only time he was on retreat mode was getting hit with Bricks ( i wouldve ran for my Fuc***ng life) and Pacquiao after he stood his grounds for a while. (which some people think Pac was juiced

    So we'll see.

You clowns still spout the bull**** of loaded gloves dontcha ?? Well Antonio Margarito LEGITIMATELY!!! kicked Cotto's ass & made him take a knee & QUIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ive asked time and again of you people Show one iota of proof Tony EVER loaded his gloves. You cannot Nazim Richardson couldnt even the CSAC couldnt. They claimed they'd MISLAID the evidence when asked to produce it. Antonio Margarito got railroaded the only guilty parties were Nazim Richardson & the CSAC

Cotto hasn't beaten a good fighter in at least 5 years. Why do people overlook this?? Sergio may be declining but Cotto isn't that good. Margarito nearly broke Cotto... Manny added the finishing touch. Guy was outclassed by Trout ffs.

Martinez isn't a big punching Middleweight but even Floyd hurt Cotto in the 12th with 10oz gloves. Sergio got up from a Chavez punch... Cotto is no where near that kind of puncher.
