No one beats GGG below 175 except for Ward.

Froch might have a chance on a really good day.

How'd you see Cotto doing against Kovalev ?

    Or Wlad ?

    What about Superman ?

You're still suffering from a serious dose of STUPID, CM.

    No cure !

cotto ko'd delvin rodriquez with ease...but rodriguez would beat adama, geale, stevens, rubio and murray....ggg hasn't proven he can handle a fighter anywhere near cotto's level.

Cotto has been talking about giving up his WBC middleweight title rather than fight Golovkin. Golovkin will either KO Cotto, or TKO Cotto and that's 100%!!! Cotto has not chance and Cotto knows it..............

GGGs opposition hasn't been at an elite level. Let's see how he fares at SMW before we jump the gun. The fighters there are levels above anyone he has fought. He owns MW without a doubt hopefully he cleans it up this year and we see him at SMW next year. I'd watch GGG-either Dirrel, GGG-Degale, GGG-Ward, GGG-Froch, GGG-Sturm, GGG-Abraham all damn year. Awesome fights coming our way. His best chances being against AA, Sturm, Chaves, and Anthony Dirrel.

Only way Cotto stands a chance is if Golovkin ties one hand behind his back. :good

what i'm saying is, ggg fights garbage and looks great knocking them out...so, based on beating bums, dudes are calling him a great fighter.

delvin rodiriguez is on the same level as ggg's victims adama, geale and rubio. cotto fights rodriguez and knocks hm out just as easy as ggg beat adama, rubio and company...but cotto's win is overlooked while ggg's wins over the same level of opposition is praised....clearly a double standard, because there really is no difference between the two.

ggg will struggle with cotto...he'll be exposed the moment he steps up in class.

There is a reason why Cotto, Quillon, Sturm, Void, will not fight Golovkin. There is no money for a fight at 168 yet. I guess Hagler could not fight because he fought at 160 his entire career. Ward refused to fight Stevenson at 175 or even 168, Ward also refused to fight Kovalev, said that Kovalev was too big for him, yet he fought at 175 as an amateur. Ward also said he would easily beat Klitschko, but he refused to sign a contract...................Ward wants big money to fight winos................

Based on an objective assessment of both Cotto's and Golovkin's quality. It is actually very easy to see that, therefore virtually everyone picks Golovkin to knock Cotto out.

Golovkin has been dominating the top middleweight contenders and knocking them out back to back.

Cotto, on the other hand, has 0 wins at 160 and one win at 159.

Also, even some of Golovkin's victims would beat Cotto or at least give him a very tough fight, never mind Golovkin himself. He's in another league to Cotto, and when you add the size difference, there's no way Cotto is lasting 12 rounds with GGG.

If GGG cleaned out 160 and stayed there and reigned most fans would be good with it. But trying to justify GGG fighting smaller fighters while getting defensive of the idea of GGG fighting bigger fighters is ridiculous. If people are going to say fighters at WW and JMW are cowards for not fighting GGG the same argument can made for GGG being a coward for not fighting SMWs and LHWs.

You can't duck someone who isn't in your division. Its ok for a fighter to fight in 1 division especially since that is where they are prime and most effective at.

I don't know where you stand though.

Rarely has the hype for an unproven fighter reached such rarefied heights...usually you gotta show something against quality opposition first.

and the thing about ggg is, his flaws are so glaring...he's slow as molasses, he's easy to hit, he fights subpar opposition like stevens, geale, adama etc. then the first time he faces a decent fighter, he almost goes the distance...

he really doesn't deserve all this build up. still it's like the media hype has plenty of people in this state of hypnosis repeating that he's unbeatable below 175...even though their own eyes should tell them otherwise.

but that's what makes hype effective, i guess...people believe what they are told more than what they themselves see with their own eyes.

this guy has to be one of the most overhyped fighters since gerry ****ey...and remember what happened to him?

not saying cotto will ko ggg. cotto is no great shakes himself...but it's gonna be close for 12 rounds. but a lotta folks would be very surprised...cotto has the ability to take it.

there is not a whole lot of substance in the whole ggg hype machine...he hasn't fought anybody, still folks wanna say he's great.

he hasn't fought anybody approaching the quality of a cotto...murray is the closest he has come...and murray went eleven. but they wanna say ggg would obliterate cotto when cotto is far more dangerous and talented than murray.

he turned down the lara fght and said he wasn't ducking...its just that lara's in a lower weight class, but believes guys in a higher weight class are ducking him.

all this undue hype makes no sense to me, but then hype doesn't work in rational ways.
