When search is back, go back and search me and see what I said about this fight...While I felt that Cotto would win this fight, I also said that Margo had a very good shot at winning the way he did, and that everyone that thought because Cotto beat Mosley that he would beat Margo was crazy. I dont think that I have ever called Margo a bum, what I said is that he isnt an elite fighter...And he isnt. But he is very good at doing what he does and not changing...Cotto changed his style and tried to be PBF and that isnt what you do in big fights.

I knew it would be a Trinidad/Vargas type beatdown. Cotto was in there with a GROWN MAN who is a champion. This wasn't no opponent and you fools saw the results. Cotto won't ever be the same.

I was surprised Cotto wasnt going to the body as we all know Marg has a chin of steel. I think the head clash which busted his nose affected his breathing and he should never have dropped his hands in the mid rounds to show off to the fans coz that was the turning point imo. Props to Marg, that guy does not know how to go backwards even when he is getting tagged with loads of shots.

I reckon a rematch could be on the cards but I think we might see a different style from Miguel next time

    great fight. FOTY so far.

WHAT? You would need a howitser to stop Margo tonight. Dont take away a victory from someone who put down a highly ranked P4P fighter.

I doubt Mayweather would have with stood that kind of pressure. He would have seen the same fate.

Cotto v Floyd is still 50/50 imo. It was Margs pressure that got to Cotto tonight combined with Cottos busted nose which must have affected his breathing. Mayweather is a great fighter but he is not capable of putting pressure like that onto Cotto.

I hope there is a rematch coz that was one of the best fights for a while. Its not too often the best take on the best these days and props to these two guys for keeping boxing in the spotlight with such a great bout. This fight will be watched by fans hundreds of years from now when we're all in our boxes hehe

Cotto showed plenty of heart, he's just not built for war. Never was.
