Duhhhh, Cotto's team WANTS Roach and company to know that Pacquiao drops his right hand....Why? Now Pacquiao will keep that hand raised, exposing his body to a lethal left hook to the ribcage/liver. :deal

 

Cotto is training hard and is very focused, but Pacquiao is in a different league. Pacquiao will win.

Are you people so naive to think that two world class fighters and their camps would say or do ANYTHING to give their opponents an advantage on a television show? Everyone on this thread is reading all sort of things into what is said by the two camps in front of the cameras. PLEASE GROW UP!!!!

Both camps are analyzing the other fighter, but also they scout their OWN FIGHTER for weakness' so that they know what the other camp is going to see and try to capatalize on. We are seeing on tv what the two camps WANT us to see. It is strictly for entertainment value. PERIOD.

Cotto is paying about $3.50 for the win over here in Oz, Pac about $1.60.

Thinking about putting a bit down on Cotto, they're good odds IMO.

Cotto has weaknesses that Pac can exploit in a big way as well....cotto definitely doesn't have this in the bag.

 

Exactly !!!.... I woulndn't say its in the bag just yet, Cotto still has to go through the formalities on the 14th !!!

 

This fight is not in the bag for either fighter. I am very confident that Cotto will win but nobody can say that this fight is in the bag based on what they see in a TV show.

 

Exactly...I was thinking the same thing...anything can happen....Cotto can slip on a banana peel coming out of his corner.

 

Sounds like a good plan....but if it were that easy I think fighters like MAB, JMM, EM, DLH ect.. would have all captiolized on those flaws. I like the fact that it looks as if Cotto isnt going to do what most expect and that is to try and over power PAC like the bigger men who have faced Manny have tried and failed. THe problem with that is PAC gets strong as fights wear on and Cotto fades. Yet if Cotto tries to end things early he could get clipped himself, it's a really tough situation for MIguel to be in. I say he needs to get to PAC early, hurt him or take him out...otherwise he'll be in deep wate by round 5 or 6 and progressively get worse from that point on for the PR champion.
