With my standards - not yet but very close.

However, there are fighters with less that has made HoF. So in that sense, yes he is in.

ID say yes but not no first ballot, he should wait awhile as many others who are at least as deserving have waited a long time.... But if Barry Mcguigan gets in then so should Cotto, his resume is better and in his prime id say better abilities too...

As for Roger being as accomplished or more?? Id say no ability wise he was on par but he was KTFOD too many times,, Cotto has only loss twice and one was to an ATG and PFP best. Cotto has been on top longer,,, Mayweathers was hot and cold then hot then eventually hung around a few more years than he should have.

Cotto's one of those fighters who, unlike a lot of fighters considered special, has a resume that speaks louder than his individual talents.

People say he was "overrated" because he was not too hard to find, not exceptionally athletic, had his moments of vulnerability, and lost hard twice; but the whole of his career, rather than the sum if its parts in individual names, is quite impressive. His fan-base and professional character only help his chances of getting in. I'd say he's done enough to edge it in and I wouldn't complain.
