Don't buy into the hype, as soon as cotto fights legit contender he will loose, here are the facts:

Actually you considering having a gay son to be part of Cotto's "curse" is ****phobic. You say "no man wants a gay son". I, for one, don't give a f*ck what ***ual orientation my son is and will love him equally regardless. It will not be harder in any way for me to love him if he is gay. Lets put this into perspective....

Firstly Cotto was NOT cheated by Margarito!!! He got his ass handed to him LEGITIMATELY!!! and best of all he knows it

It was Margarito that got cheated in the rematch. To start with Cotto wasmt interested until he knew Margarito's eye had been permanently damaged by Pacquaio. Despite targeting that eye & lacing it at every opportunity Cotto STILL couldn't beat Margarito. He had to rely on that NY doc to stop the fight just as Margarito was coming on & beating his chest as Cotto wilted.
The doc stopped that fight not to save Margarito's eye but to save Cotto QUITTING on his knees AGAIN!!!!
Cotto NEVER beat Margarito plus Tony is far from broke he is doing fine thanks despite being railroaded & cheated
It was Cotto that had his self confidence beaten out of him by Margarito He was a turned into a:| prima donna
As he said last night this little resurgeance Cotto is having is 100% due to Freddie Roach. Clever matchmaking earned Cotto the lineal MW championship Lets see if Cotto has any cojones left & fights Canelo or better still GGG If he beats both those guys he can claim to be world middleweight champ Believe it or not I'd support him myself then. But till then he's just a pretender

People react to things in that matter differently

 

Everybody knows Margarito cheated, there were forensic studies to the bandages used by Margarito and it was concluded that he used some kind of substance to strengthen his bandages.

Before the Mosley fight, which was what team Cotto failed to do, it was discovered that he was using illegal stuff on his fists. What happened then? Mosley, a guy that was beaten by Cotto convincingly, kicked Margarito's ass in the worst way possible, referee stopped the fight.

Cotto on the other hand kneeled to get a count and catch a break and his trainer threw in the towel. I know it's hard to see a 5'6" guy knock out a bunch of bum beaters, cause we all know that this guys get their records pumped by fighting 50 vw taxi drivers and bums before getting a recognized opponent, but the truth hurts.

Cotto lost against Mayweather in a pretty close fight to everyone's eyes except the Nevada judges, but ask Mayweather who hit him harder than Cotto and he won't mention canela or ortiz, nor marquez.

Cotto lost again against Trout in a technical fight after Trout copied Mayweather's style and worked out for him.

But back to margacheato, you all know he didn't stand a chance against a guy he could hardly punch. You guys can stop whining about it, he got what cheaters deserve, a nice ass kicking.

About the catch-weight thing, I've never seen so much hate towards Mayweather or Pac-man for the same issue. Sergio Martinez wanted the big payday and that meant fighting one of the best, he thought it was going to be easy, and at a pound under 160 for a guy slightly taller than Cotto that wasn't a problem. Martinez was asked many times about his knee and he said it was ok. At least Martinez is a real man and accepted defeat. After all, it's his signature on the contract. And the same goes for Daniel Geale, he thought that going in the ring at 182 (almost heavyweight weight) was going to be a field day and we all saw what happened, again, Geale was man enough to accept defeat, he even said "no more" to the referee, Cotto never said "no more" against anyone. Geale was also in for the money.

It's hard for me to understand this double standard in boxing where you have to be at 160 or UNDER to fight for the title but then you're expected to get in the ring at heavyweight weight to fight. If its unfair (lol, y'all sound like little girls) to fight on a catch-weight match, it should be unfair to get in the ring 25 pounds heavier the next day. That just shows how unnatural this natural boxers really are.

On the GGG ****, get a break. He wants Cotto for the money, not for the title cause he already said he'll go down 154 to fight Mayweather and just an fyi, May sent his dad to say he won't fight GGG cause it doesn't mean a good pay. But I don't see all the hate going towards Mayweather for being a p u s s y. So it's OK to cowardly send someone to talk on your behalf, but it's not ok when there were plans already for a Cotto-canela fight which means more money for Cotto than fighting another bum Puncher in GGG. Let's get real, everybody's hating on Cotto cause he's back on track and making the right moves. You all want to see him beaten like margacheato and are hurting cause its not going to happen.

To finish my rant, no one fight against their will, it's a business and people want to fight Cotto cause it means good business. Canelo doesn't stand a chance to win against Cotto and GGG should build a real record before going against a real Champion.

Don't be soo butt hurt. At the end non of this boxers pays your bills. If you enjoy the sport be honest about it, hating is easy, being honest is not.
