Yes Cotto could handle Floyd. Cotto got rocked by Clottey, Floyd would do worse then what he did to Hatton.

Dude i've already commented but i gotta say this, Do you have any idea how easily PBF would break through Cotto's defense? Not to mention Cotto doesn't have the most solid chin in the world, He was rocked majorly by a Judah uppercut..

Cotto recovered quickly from Judah's uppercut and proceeded to dominate. As for Mosley, Cotto showed in that fight he can box instead of fight and showed he had a good chin.

Everyone needs to shut the **** up about Clottey, you guys sound like a bunch of kids who don't know what the **** they're talking about. That was years ago, Cotto is a modified more skilled boxer who showed optimal skills against Mosley.

Atleast watch Cotto fight before you talk ****.

Mayweather sounded SHOOKED when Larry Merchant said Cotto's name.
He doesn't want a part of Cotto, nor do Mayweather fans.

Its whatever right now, think of all the excuses and invalid bull**** lies; when they do match up in the future my predictions will be accurate and yours will be up your ass.

**** off, whether he recovered quickly or not isn't the point, the point is his chin is very suspect and nowhere near Hatton's was supposedly or Mayweathers. I noticed you didn't argue my point about his defense, Admitting your all mighty has flaws? :hey
We've all watched Cotto fight by the way and this is how we can criticise him, Dick.

Is Floyd retiring again or will he continue to fight?

I stated before the fight SSM was past it and that the fight could go either way although I liked SSM, and yes he is shot he looks nothing like the fighter he was in 2000 or 01. People have been saying he was past it since the 1st Winky fight in 04. Let me ask you this at age 36 do you consider Mosley still at his peak? I don't as his fights with Cruz and Estrada proved. at his peak he would have dominated and stopped both quite easily.

You're assessment of Cotto is a contradiction. Judah didn't do any serious damage to Cotto. Mosley landed hard power shots to Cotto's chin and Cotto was still controlling the pace of the fight.

As for his defense, Cotto won his last fight with his defense, what do you have to say about that dickface?

If Mayweather fights like today and Cotto like against Judah and Shane, Mayweather wins and possibly puts a final test on Cotto's chin, that's what... This is boxing, you gat to get your punches in, doesn't matter how brutal or powerful they are if you don't hit anything.

There's always some guy coming through that will appear worthy....

Hatton was one of them until recently.

Floyd will NEVER be good enough for all of you Cotto-loving, Mayweather-hating fans (that's what it all boils down to). What the #*&($## else does Floyd have to prove in this sport to get your respect? He has 39 victories and belts in six different weight classes! Like someone else said earlier on this post - if he takes the fight with Cotto and wins, then he's just "ducking" the next guy. Then if he beats Cotto, he just has to turn around and fight the next guy he's supposedly "ducking" to please you guys - and even then you'll still question his brilliance in the ring.

Do I agree that Cotto/Mayweather would be a great fight and I'd love to see it? Yes. Do I agree Mayweather NEEDS to take this fight to prove he's one of the best of all time? A resounding no...let the guy retire if he wants to retire. To say he's earned it would be an understatement.

PBF has no reason to fight cotto? first of all it wouldn't draw world wide, and further more, what more dose he need to proove? 6 belts 5 different weight class.....in my view cotto......brings him nothing to the table, its funny, everytime PBF wins, the haters find another name to hope to beat the king!! cotto is beatable, williams would beat him, and berto will be a champ! and there will be no stopping him, he will beat any of the 147 give him a few more fights to get tuned up....the haters need to give PBF his props, and after he beats his opponent, he sho's so much class and respect, but all they can do is cry.....:bbb
